Adventures of Broxon - 3

Dear Diary,

Today I got my axe! I was the most relieved Orc alive at the time. Out goes the stick and in with the axe.
I helped a woman get to her son today, she flew in the air! I helped a troll get back 3 Plainstriders and an Orc collect 250 Crocolisk teeth.
I heard word that Sen'jin Village was under attack so I raced to the scene. Minutes later I confronted a Night Elf. I hurled my dagger at his mount and he fell off and died.
I then killed 10 Razormane's which nearly got me killed! I got he option to choose my path for warrior training. I chose Fury. Fury is where you learn how to wield two weapons at once and channel your aggression into attacks.
Durotar is a desert place. There is the great sea to the East, and a flood to the West. Echo Isles (where the Troll all train) to the South and Orgrimmar, the capital city of the Orcs, to the North.

Adventures of Broxon - 2

Dear Diary,

Today is my second day with the Horde.
I finally got my wish. I stopped the Northwatch Lieutenant.
You wouldn't believe what I had to do for training, I had to hit things with a stick! I can't wait until I get back to the axe.
In the centre of all that I had to help a fellow Orc keep calm when his house was burnt to the ground by the quillboars.
I got to see Voljin the leader of the Darkspear trolls and Baine Bloodhoof the leader of the Tauren.
Razor Hill is a nice little place, we have:

+ A Warrior Trainer, he helps me with my training.
+ Food and Drink vendor, I'm never starving.
+ Innkeeper, he lends me a bed for the night.
+ Weaponsmiths, he is forging me a melee weapon.

I want to learn how to make potions. It means that I am going to have to start picking plants. Sometimes I have heard that I will have to put fish in potions. Weird!

Adventures of Broxon

Dear Diary,

Today I started my journey with the Horde. It was pretty tiring but I managed it in the end.
I had to kill 6 Boars, 8 Felhound beasts, 6 Vile Familiars and many more beasts. I finally got through as a Rookie.
On the way I learnt some amazing skills like how to regain my strength after battles, how to charge at my enemies, how to wield my axe and how to finish off my enemies.
I have been sent to Sen'jin Village the home of the Trolls. I had to stop a cargo of Alliance weapons from getting into the hands of their leader. My goal is to find the leader and stop him. After I helped out in Sen'jin Village I rode on the back of a brown wolf to Razor Hill. By then it was getting dark so I sat down and slept.
My name is Broxon and I hope to get better and serve the Horde in Azeroth and beyond.

Whoa what happened there…and the start of two new stories.

Well I didn't managed to keep my blog up to date as intended (no surprise there) but I am back in the saddle now. There are many tales to tell and I will recap from where I left off…at least I took lots of screenshots along the way.

Also this i the start of a journey for my son too (he is 9 and has started playing WoW). Before you lambast me that it is a 12 on the box…I know this…and I know the reasons for it being a 12…My son is mature enough to understand the basic lore themes and cope with the small amount of  blood and gore (I am usually sitting with him when he plays too). The problem for me is actually the MM part of MMORPG…so if you switch of a chat, whispers, etc you are minimising the chance or bad language, etc and if he gets harassed he immediately tells me.

So that said you will see two adventures in this blog. (well 3 actually but I don't want to spoil it until I have caught up). Eldrain, my Tauren Paladin (my original Holy Cow) and Broxon.

The project I have started with my son is he will play Wow and then right up a diary (yes that is written on paper - to improve his literacy) of what has happened to Broxon and I will put it up here…so Stay tuned
